Tweed & Linen

I had a need - a need for tweed. This, and a warm colour palette with a combination of textures and patterns were what was happening for last Thursday's outfit! I don't know how to easily describe this look but I was going for "grandmother's lounge room." Where the couch is a rich cognac brown and the coffee table cloth's pattern clashes with the drapes and throw pillows.

This outfit is actually really comfortable, with a nice balance of loose layers at the top, and more fitted bottoms. I really felt like wearing neutral tones because of autumn, with the impending cold, and shorter days. I quite like how this turned out, particularly combined with the loose ponytail and my dr martens.

Today is the last day of our week before I have to work for the next few days. Wish me luck haha :P

On Thursday we were able to head outside after being cooped up indoors for most of the week, so where else to go exploring and wall hunting than Surry Hills?

I opted for a semi double denim outfit with for humidity's sake - black shorts, this Weathered cotton button up that I've been told looks denim-ey so there's that! And for the late afternoon chills, my trustworthy boyfriend style denim jacket.

Hey everyone! I've worn this skirt way too many times, it's one of my all-time favourites. It actually has so many stains on it because of it being over-used. These shoes are also very old. I apologise, I basically wear the same bunch of shoes (boots, creepers and dr martens) but today I'm wearing these flats.
